since 1983 i make jewellery in stainless steel. in the use of a minimalist formal language i express my aspiration for form and structure. this search for clarity of expression, to oppose the arbitrary and trivial with a precise and formal rigour, is manifested in the cool and understated pragmatism of stainless steel. my work attempts to extend the borderlines between jewellery and object. this focussed passion i would like to call my 'spielbein' ( the leg with which to play). my 'standbein' (the leg on which to stand) is my continuous development of limited edition pieces and - as an indigenous goldsmith - the whole bandwidth of goldsmithing service: from cleaning, repairs, etc. to designing an individual jewellery piece together with the customer. brigitte von wysiecki, goldsmith [title of master craftsman] to learn more about my education and biography, please >> click here.
